In the Division of Natural Sciences, class looks a little bit...well, different. Forget the large lecture hall and Powerpoints; our science classes take hands-on to a whole new level. It might mean being in one of our labs, working with our state-of-the-art equipment. It might look like taking a hike through a nature preserve or working with the Department of Environmental Conservation in observing eels at the banks of the Hudson River. And it might take a paid summer research position and turn it into a presentation road trip to Niagara Falls.
If you want to be a scientist, you can’t learn it without experiencing it. So welcome to our classroom: aka, the world.
