Â鶹ɫÇ鯬 was recently recognized by Best Accredited Colleges as one of the best Human Services colleges in the nation.

The Mount was ranked in the top 40 colleges on Best Accredited Colleges’ Best Bachelors in Human Service Degrees list for 2023. The full ranking list can be .

According to Best Accredited Colleges, the Mount was selected from a pool of hundreds of institutions across the country and ranked using data on financial aid awards, the quality of education, faculty, campus resources, and more.   

At the Mount, Human Services students learn how to work with groups and their unique needs, including adolescents, those with disabilities, and the elderly. Course highlights include Sociology and the Family; Race, Gender, and Inequality; Theories of Social Casework; and more.

After graduating, many Mount Human Services majors go on to graduate school for Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, while others join the workforce right away at nonprofit or government agencies in mental health, disability learning and advocacy, elder care, and more.

Located 60 miles north of New York City, the Mount is ranked a Top-Tier Regional University by U.S. News & World Report, and offers bachelor’s degree programs preparing students for careers in healthcare, business, education, social services, communication/media and more. Master’s degree programs include options in nursing, business, and education.
