Throughout the event, prospective students and their families will connect with current students; discover the college’s wide variety of majors; learn more about the Mount’s academic programs from professors; learn how to get involved in all aspects of the Mount community and how to create a great college experience; explore how combining service and learning can spark personal growth and change throughout the world; have an opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor to ask questions; and more.
In addition, the college is offering several exciting new programs for incoming students, including:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, a robust program designed to equip students with the foundational theory and real-world skills necessary for successful careers in the rapidly evolving technology industry.
- An undergraduate minor in Sports and Exercise Psychology. This 18-credit program is designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the psychological principles that influence performance and well-being in sports. It’s the ideal complement for students majoring in Psychology, Exercise Science, and Sports Management, but it’s also available to all majors.
- A certification in Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC). This is a 27-credit on-campus program designed to equip students with the necessary education and skills to enter the addiction services field and is open to all students, regardless of their major.
