Our reputable MBA program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to prepare you for a variety of management positions throughout the modern business world, without disrupting your life. Pair your MBA with the optional CPA-Track or a concentration in Sports Management to enhance your degree.
If becoming a CPA is your goal, our MBA–CPA Track offers the opportunity to complete advanced accounting and business coursework that may satisfy the education requirements for CPA licensure, including the 150-credit hour threshold required by most states. You'll also gain the leadership and strategic skills needed to advance in accounting, finance, and business, without putting your career on hold. Students in this track take core MBA courses along with specialized advanced accounting classes that align with the demands of today’s increasingly complex financial and regulatory environment.

Sports is a rapidly growing industry that needs passionate and skilled business leaders. Earning your MBA with a concentration in Sports Management will set you apart in the sports industry, preparing you for a variety of management positions within sports and athletics. MBA-Sports Management Concentration students will take several courses specific to the operational, economic and public relations management of sports facilities, organizations, and events, in addition to traditional MBA courses.

A Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management can give you the training you need in both the business and healthcare sectors to make a difference in the healthcare field. MBA in Healthcare Management students will take several courses specific to the operational management of healthcare facilities in addition to traditional MBA courses.

Here’s what makes the Mount’s Enhanced Online MBA program unique:
Meet your peers: Twice each year, at the start of the fall and summer sessions, all MBA students come to campus for a one-day, immersive, in-person residency to engage with their peers, build relationships, and expand their professional network. In-person interaction has been proven to foster a collaborative learning environment that extends to the use of forums and other interactive tools online. Students who live more than 150 miles away will be offered an alternative activity if they are unable to attend, in consultation with the Graduate Coordinator and course professor. Students are also welcome to come to campus during the spring semester to work with faculty and other students. The number of credits you will have to take as an MBA student will depend on your undergraduate major, as well as work/life experience. Prior to beginning the program, you will meet with our graduate Business advisor or the program coordinator to discuss your personal path to degree completion.
Our graduate courses run on 8-week sessions instead of 15-week semesters, with six session start dates per academic year. We typically recommend that students take two courses per session, but you can take one course if that better fits your schedule. The MBA program can be completed in as little as 12 months. Depending on your prerequisite requirements and how many credits you wish to take each year, your course schedule can be adjusted to match your unique experience and goals.
Using the Mount’s learning management system, eClass, students will complete their course work online-asynchronously, on their own time. You’ll begin your studies with a focus on management, particularly communication strategies for managers. Your subsequent courses will bolster your finance, operations, ethics, production, marketing, and communication skills. Students in the CPA or Sport Management Track or students pursuing the MBA in Healthcare Management, will take additional courses specific to accounting skills, or the operational management of healthcare facilities, or the management and administration of sports organizations, facilities, and events. Students in the Traditional MBA and in the MBA CPA-Track, depending on the credits needed, also have elective opportunities, where you choose to expand your studies in subjects like international trade, human resources, entrepreneurship, law, and more. Finally, you’ll conclude your time in the program with a capstone course on a research project of your choice, or by undertaking an optional thesis project in place of the capstone course project.
