As a Graphic Design student, you will study visual communication with an emphasis on conceptual problem-solving and technical proficiency. You'll learn to create and develop purposeful forms of visual art and how to apply this skill to various career paths. You won't just hone your craft as a graphic artist, you'll learn how to effectively visually communicate with an audience.
Today's graphic designers work in both analog and digital design. The Graphic Design degree will prepare you for jobs in branding, UX/UI (User Interface/User Experience Design), packaging, interactive design, publication design, and corporate communications, among others. This program incorporates creativity with digital proficiency in tandem with conceptual problem-solving preparing you for various careers in creative professions such as publishing, content creation, advertising, entertainment design, web design, web animation, and art direction.
